I have yet to read this, but I did read Elizabeth Gilbert's article in Best American Travel Writing 2007 called "Long Day's Journey Into Dinner," which I enjoyed very much.
Dan: !Caution! It's a total chick book......maybe you'll like it though?!?!? She wrote a book called "Last American Man", that is about a guy who lives in the same mountains as me.......I would like to read that one sometime.
Wow! "last American Man" rings a faint bell. I think I've heard of it. I'll look it up, since I'm not really into chick books, but I am in love with the mountains of North Carolina.
dan: As I know you are, who wouldn't be in love with the NC mountains?!?! Oh, I thought about you while I was reading this book last night when I hit an extremely girlie part.....I thought, if I were a guy I would stop reading right now.....hahaha
This blog is the brainchild of a self-imposed Photography Challenge for 2008. I will be posting a picture to represent every single day for the entire year. I may not always be up to date, but that doesn't mean that I have not taken a photo. So, please check back in.
